Kennedy Elementary School, located in Newark, Calif., is coeducational learning center that serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers classes in reading, English, language arts, math, science, social studies and physical education. The school also provides Drug Abuse Resistance Education program. Additionally, Kennedy Elementary School organizes various cultural programs and field trips. It has a library that provides several books, periodicals and reference materials. The school s parent-teacher association sponsors and participates in fundraising events, such as science night, harvest festival, field day, Walk-a-thon, and the Winter Treasures Dinner and Auction. Kennedy Elementary School operates under the Newark Unified School District.
