Previously I had been treated well here. But today, no. There has been a change of staff. First I was spoken to rudely when I called to say I had received a notice from Amazon that my packages had arrived. A young woman, in a scolding tone of voice, said I'd have to show proof of purchase to pick them up since Amazon had neglected to put my name on the packages. She quoted the usual price to pick up large packages there, 20 each. When I arrived, they said the price was 25 each, because they had spoken to their boss, DANNY, and he said I'd have to pay that much. This goes against the agreement I signed when I registered. But since I only have Saturdays off to pick up packages, I agreed. The two young women continued to treat me rudely. I had to leave my credit card to take their rolling cart to carry the heavy packages to my apartment. I received no help in trying to figure out how to get the packages tied on, while they both looked on at my struggling. Finally, I requested some help and one grudgingly helped me tie them on. When I returned and said I was writing a review on Yelp, they laughed. I will never go to this store again. I recommend that everyone avoid it if possible. This store is at 181 and Fort Washington, New York City. There is another UPS store a few blocks east, also on 181. Use that one.
