I have had an extremely bad experience with Mauro Bros and find that the brokers working there are not to be trusted. I rented an apartment through Felix Galarza who seemed nice and attentive during the showing [as fake reviews on Yelp describe it], but as I realized later I got tricked into a deal that cost me several thousand dollars extra.

I was looking for a quiet apartment and thus asked Felix lots of specific questions about noise conditions in the building. I was trying to avoid large parties, loud music and musical instruments, kids next door, thin walls etc. Felix assured me that EVERYTHING was according to my requirements and as the showing was in the middle of the day when the building was deserted (as I realized later) it seemed to be true.

Unfortunately on the very first night after I moved when my neighbors came home I realized that the walls are paper thin and I can hear every single step next door and be aware of every conversation not to mention my neighbors’ love for parties.

As it turned out, everything Felix said about the apartment was a lie, which wasn't worth a penny from a ridiculous 12% of a yearly rent fee I paid for his “services”. In the morning I woke up from the mixture of kids’ screams (I have three around my apartment when Felix said none!!!) and sounds of working 24-hour car wash nearby he also “forgot” to mention.

So as a result of Mauro Brothers “professionalism” I had to terminate the lease and look for another apartment paying for the moving and broker fees again, just a couple of months after I paid to Mauro brothers.
I would not recommend to deal with them and I would avoid them at all costs.
