General Info

Founded in 1995, NYRP (New York Restoration Project) restores, revitalizes and develops under-resourced parks and community gardens throughout the city's five boroughs. The organization specializes in horticulture, landscape design, community outreach and educational programming. Its programs complement and reinforce environmental education in the classroom, as well as encourage students and teachers out of the classroom and into the settings they are studying. NYRP offers numerous programs for parks and garden, along with community gardener programs.
