      Dorothy C. Hayden, LCSW, MBA, CAC, is an expert in the field of addiction, having published 40 full-length articles, one e-book and over 150 blog posts about the subject. She specializes in the problem of alcohol abuse. She has appeared on the British HBO show documentary "The Devil and the Flesh", on ABC's 20/20" In addition, she has appeared on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360, and is a regular commentator on WBAI radio. Ms. Hayden graduated in 1995 from New York University with an M.S.W. For 10 years, she worked in major NY detoxes, rehabs, out-patient clinics and day treatment programs for people with chemical dependency. In 1994 she was awarded a CAC (Credentialed Alcoholism Counselor) from the State of New York. She underwent six years of psychoanalytic training and has been in private practice since 1999.
