Unfortunately, I have dealt with them, and they are not very professional. I found them to be rude and obnoxious, and the quality of the conference I attended was overall poorly run, and disorganized. I did not gain anything by spending time with them, just paid huge fees and got the runaround whenever I asked a question. Their members also tended to be on the lower end as far as reliability. And they didn't have much to offer that was of any permanent or lasting value, just a lot of over-inflated egos.

As an editor at a large publishing house, I was invited to attend one of their functions. It was not worth the time I spent there. I found many of them to be very unprofessional, and the writing they did submit was in bad need of repair. I would not recommend them to anyone whose work I respect.

Completely unprofessional. I am an editor at Random House, and their members tend to be mostly amateurs, or obnoxious people with extremely low rankings on Amazon. They charged us a lot of money for this crummy boat ride. It was such a waste of precious time! I would not touch them with a ten foot pole.
