I've been a member for more than 20 years, and my rating has waffled many a time (pre surgery, post surgery, that kind of thing). They remained totally cognizant of my skills -- or temporary lack thereof -- and fixed me up with appropriate games whenever I asked. The staff is that rare combination of funny and efficient and proficient -- there are times when I'm not even playing, that I drop by for a cup of coffee and a schmooze. It's a genuinely friendly place, big enough to support five courts, small enough so it feels like someone's home

The club has a membership program which provide services such as court reservations, game arranging, and such. These services are performed by an inefficient booking staff/system that is useless. If service is demanded then things can get ugly. The one thing the staff is good at is collecting your court fees.
so if you'd like to throw away about $45 a week, with or without court time, for nothing more than to have people talk back at you on the phone, and constantly putting you on hold, then MPRC membership is for you.
tennis programs/pros are pretty good, and you don't need membership to have lessons.
