lack of professionalism by ancillary staff

The doctor was both professional,and caring. After coming home and getting a ct scan,my local surgeon called the doctor in NYC to let him know that my condion was even worse than we all thought.NYC MD agreed to move the date up,but now it seems that he WON"T be doing the surgery at all..and another person will possibly be doing it in February of 2008(when the two doctors spoke of getting me in asap.) I am at a loss! Even the way the procedure would be done is different! Please help
