Dr. Maion-Rigg is a fabulous Italian Language Instructor. I have learned so much about the beautiful, rich Italian culture through Dr. Maion-Rigg as well as significantly improved my Italian language speaking skills. Dr. Maion-Rigg is the best.

Of all the Italian teachers I have worked with, Professor Rigg is certainly the greatest! Through her ability to teach creatively, I have absorbed a level of language and culture that I never got from any other teacher. I began just hoping to learn basic conversation and improve pronunciation for singing opera, and ended up speaking Italian better than I speak English! I feel as though I know Italian history and culture better than Italians!!! This coming from a "slow" language student. Carmen is superb!!!!!
