General Info

In operation for more than 25 years, The French Culinary Institute offers instruction in artisanal bread baking, food and wine pairing, culinary techniques and cooking essentials. Its culinary courses include knife skill development, deboning and filleting. The institute also provides pastry courses for the preparation of truffles, chocolate-dipped toffees, raspberry squares, chocolate bars and bonbons. In addition, The French Culinary Institute offers educational programs that include instruction in food and technology, wine studies, business development and food journalism. The institute operates the Friends of The FCI, which is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to students based on financial need and ability. The French Culinary Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
