• Fraud
  Fraser, former vice chairman of Cantor Fitzgerald, faced “control person" liability claims for his purported role in GAW Miners and ZenMiner, two cryptocurrency mining companies founded by Joshua Garza. Garza pleaded guilty in July 2017 to wire fraud in a related criminal action. He was ordered to pay $9.1 million as restitution to his companies' victims and was sentenced to 21 months in prison.

  Hughes Hubbard secured a victory in a First Step Act motion before a Virginia federal court, resulting in the immediate release of a federal inmate serving a life sentence for drug offenses.

  During the course of her career, Silverberg successfully helped to build and manage Condé Nast’s first ever globally integrated Legal & Policy department. Prior to that, Silverberg built up a notable technology startup’s legal functions, including data protection and other compliance programs. Silverberg has also headed the business affairs function for a publicly traded leading publisher of interactive entertainment. Her background includes all aspects of digital media production, distribution and acquisition, intellectual property licensing and counseling, compliance, corporate governance and data privacy.
