Founded in 2001, Harlem Day Charter School is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 240 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes for language arts, reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, arts and Spanish. It also offers the Waterford Early Reading Program, which is a computerized literacy program. Harlem Day Charter School provides sessions for art, music and physical education through its extended day programs.
