Mizhiritsky, MD, was born in Russia and immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of 11. After living in the Bronx, he was accepted to the esteemed Sophie Davis School of BioMedical Education. The school is a combined B.S./M.D. program intended for incomparable young men and women that are dedicated to a career in medicine at a very young age. It is there that Michael Y. Mizhiritsky, MD, met Leon E. Popovitz, MD. Mizhiritsky, MD, specializes in the conservative and non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
