General Info
Cybele Fishman, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital. She was graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a BA in Romance Languages & Literature and Latin American Studies. After completing her medical degree from NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Fishman completed one year of clinical training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and three years of dermatology training at Albert Einstein School of Medicine, where she was chief resident. In addition, she completed advanced fellowship training in Melanoma and Pigmented Lesions at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In 2010, she studied integrative medicine at the Continuum Center for Health and Healing, Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Fishman is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has made several appearances as a skin health and wellness expert online, in print media, and on television, including several appearances on “The Dr. Oz Show,” and the “The Today Show” and educational videos for Women’s Health and Parents. Dr. Fishman’s approach is to integrate the best of traditional, integrative, and cosmetic dermatology to offer individualized care, and to help patients feel great. In her 18 years of practicing dermatology, she enjoys a personal connection with her patients and solving their dermatological health issues.

Dr. Fishman is superb. High marks for compassion, communication (listening and explaining) skills, not rushed, and basically sets the bar HIGH for other doctors. I’ve been to her for cosmetic (aka Botox and filler) as well ask skin concerns (age spots, weird growth, overall skin screen, etc) and am always confident and grateful to my friend recommended me to her.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Fishman through ZocDoc, because I’ve been struggling with acne and blemish since adolescence. She examined me and attentively listened to all my concerns. She also was very clear and careful during her explanations, asking my opinion before suggesting any kind of treatment that could be best for my situation. I am glad that I chose her to take care of my skin.
Love Dr Fishman. One of the best. She and her nurses are so so sweet and listen. Front office staff? Terrible. Makes me never want to come back. They are abrasive, cold and get overly frustrated. Customer service is hard and I have empathy for them. But I would repeat my questions and never get clear answers. Then the receptionist would ask me to come up and ask the same question I previously asked! Clearly she wasn’t listening. Customer service training may help! We’re all doing our best.
