If you are looking for movers that will put in bare minimum effort to make sure all of your furniture is moved in, insult you, embarrass you in front of your new neighbors, leave your furniture sitting out on the street and who's Managers will defend and enable their unprofessional behavior and lie to you about getting a refund, then these are the guys for you. If you would like to avoid such an unpleasant experience on your first day in your lovely new apartment, want to get your money's worth and start out with a positive impression on your new neighbors, then look somewhere else.



As the movers were moving my couch out of my old apartment, I gave them a head's up that the entrance to my new garden apartment was a bit tight and that they might have a little trouble getting the couch through the front. The lead mover told me not to worry and that he had seen all sorts of difficult moving situations and that there was a solution to any problem. Sure enough, they could not get my couch through the door of my new place so I mentioned that I could talk to my new landlord who lives upstairs to see if he would let them take the couch up through his parlor, out into the patio and in through the backdoor of my apt. The lead mover then took one of the couch cushions, put it up against the back doorway (the long way) and told me that "if this cushion doesn't fit through then the couch won't fit through" and walked away from me. I asked his partner for measuring tape but he never brought any back. When I asked the lead mover for measuring tape the second time, his temper escalated at record speed and began to yell at me telling me that there was no way that couch would fit through. I asked him "how do you know if we haven't even measured it?" His temper became even more explosive. I told him that I wasn't trying to argue with him but was simply trying to have a conversation and asked him why he was getting so angry. He told me that I was asking for the impossible and that I was harassing him and his partner. He then called me a "piece of sh*t." After a series of more insults, I paid him his money, gave them a $75 tip and told them to get out of my face. He continued to scream out "you're a piece of sh*t" (amongst other obscenities) as he walked away and told me to quote him on those insults and proceeded to spell out his name: Z-I-G-G-Y...so here I am, fulfilling his request. When I called his manager Alex, he told me that Ziggy has been an employee with the company for 7 years and that I must have said something to upset him and that he would have cursed at me as well if he was in his shoes. He then asked me in the classic fashion of a manipulative bully: "Wouldn't you cuz at someone if they insulted you." I told him that I would never treat a customer that way, regardless of how I was treated by them because it is unprofessional and I would be fired for such behavior. He continued to defend Ziggy but said that he would refund some of my money...I have yet to see that money.



I called my new landlord upstairs. The older man, in his 60s helped me take the couch up to his parlor, out into the patio, we turned the couch on its side and fit it in through the back entrance without a problem...it literally took less than a minute to get it through the doorway. I should have saved myself some money and stress by hiring a different moving company. There is nothing "clean cut" about these guys.

I had a storage and removal service provided by Clean Cut Movers was exceptional and cannot praise the removal staff more highly. Arrived on time, in uniform and worked non stop during the whole removal process. Could not recommend the staff more highly. Has to be one of the best removal firms that I have ever used and would highly recommend their services to others.

THEY WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN! I needed to move my brother from Philly to Long Island and they made it simple. Price was more than reasonable and they left nothing to chance. Every item was packed with care and the move was a piece of cake.

These people make moving easy! One call, quick quote, schedule moving date, DONE! They were on time and moved us from Westchester to the city in hours. Great people and super to work with. Don't waste your time with other companies.

I had a great and hassle-free experience with Clean Cut Movers. From start to finish the experience was all good. I came into this move jaded and terrified because my last move with a different company was complete turmoil and hell. I probably came off micromanage-y and annoying during the planning phase, but Nicole remained professional.



After we got a date and arrival time range worked out, it was easy sailing from there. Yesterday, I moved from a 1 bedroom on the 5th floor of an elevator building to another 1 bedroom on the 5th floor of an elevator building. The catches were that I have a lot of stuff which includes a lot of recreational stuff (including a multiple bikes and gear, skis and gear and a kayak and gear), and the destination building is huge, so they had to take a very long walk from the basement entrance to the service elevator.



Randy and Ziggy handled the moved like pros. They were friendly, professional and fast. Even my dog loved them. The icing on the cake is that even with the additional distance and disassembly/reassembly charges, their quote was hundreds of dollars less than the few other competitors I called. What I was quoted is exactly what I paid. I highly recommend these guys.

I moved from CT to NYC this a few months ago with the help of Clean Cut Movers. From start to finish, they were nothing but fantastic. Email responses were quick and informative, and they quoted me a price below their competitors.



The movers, Randi and Azim, were early (which means they woke up super duper early in NYC and hopped in their truck to make it to Simsbury by 11 AM-- thanks guys!) and loaded in our stuff in record time, making gentle adjustments for things like plants-we-treat-like-children and six bicycles.



They unloaded our stuff just as quickly and were friendly and courteous throughout. My move went better than anticipated and I'll definitely use this company when (sigh) I have to move again. Awesome work!

I had to move my office at the last minute and Clean Cut came through with FLYING COLORS! I arranged everything with them in 25 minutes. Nicole was just super to work with. She made the process quick and easy. These guys packed me and moved me in 6 hours. I could not believe the service I got. Ziggy and Matt were great and made sure everything got there in one piece.



Prices are very fair and they do whatever is necessary to meet your schedule and deadlines.

Great people, fair prices and they just get the job done! I had a decent size job and they had my quote back to me the next morning. I moved from Lower Manhattan out to Oyster Bay on Long Island and I could not have been happier! They wrapped and covered everything I own and made sure all of my fragile things arrived in one piece.



Nicole is SUPER and will do whatever necessary to schedule the move when it's best for you. Ziggy, Tony, John and Matt did my move and they were all great to work with. I would not recommend any other movers, you will love the service you get.
