The staff was exceptional, taking the time to detail each course for us. The service exceeded expectations – for our party of 6, we had the luxury of 3 servers ensuring that each course was elegantly presented simultaneously. The attention to detail extended to the impressive presentation, with each course adorned with its unique set of plates and silverware. A personal highlight was the oyster and pearls dish, featuring oyster and caviar elegantly served with a mother-of-pearl spoon.

can you afford it?

THe building is very attractive and modern and the stores and restaurants are also attractive. But, except for Borders book store and coffee place ; WHO can afford most of the stores& restaurants in this place? A great tourist location but the costs are for high income people and/or people on business accounts. For example, Per Se restarant is about $300 Per person ; Masa restaurant is $550 per person before a twenty per cent 'mandatory tip'. Cafe bouley bakery :glass of wine, coffee, pastry $ 35.00 Before tax and tip. So unless your just viewing or on an expense account go to Macy's or Bloomindale"s and many of the moderately priced restaurants within 1 mile of the Times Warner 10 Columbus Circle.

Wonderful!

I ate here on June 12th 2008. A friend paid, thank God! It was more than I expected for the price. The staff was wonderful and explained each course to us. The service was outstanding, for our table of 6, we had 3 servers so that each course could be set down at approximately the same time. The presentation for each course was impressive, each course had it's own set of plates and silver. My favorite dish was the oyster and pearls which was oyster and caviar served with a mother of pearl spoon. I'd heard that the portions were small but after 12 courses, I was very very full, let me assure you. The foie gras was outstanding. The desserts were divine. If you are a serious foodie, you will love this place. The only thing I thought was missing was black linen napkins for those wearing dark clothes. Emeril has one up on you there.
