I recently came in to sell some gold and sat down with Ed. It was refreshing to get an offer right away and not play the "so how much do you want to get for this" game that other gold dealers I have seen play. Ed is looking to build customers who will come back and make referrals - not just make a quick buck from someone and never see them again. Overall I was satisfied with the experience, since I am not a gold aficionado but feel I was treated fairly.

So not happy with them. Quoted me over the phone $1400 for 37 grams of 18k bracelet. In person a totally different story. Just want to get you there with your gold then rip you off with the low ball prices. Just greedy scrap buyers! So mad they waisted my time. Should of been honest on the phone. All i can say is they must have there own people writing these reviews of how great they are. The best part was gold went UP the day that i finally got there, no excuse for being dis-honest.

I saw the video on the Albert & Sons Inc. website and went into meet them to sell my gold with the confidence that I would get top dollar for old vintage pieces from my mother's estate. I was given nothing close to what I saw on the video for the 18K solid gold bracelet purchased over 40 years ago, nor for the other items I bought in. In fact, the transaction was so quick and impersonal that of all the items I brought in six gold pieces and some silver, only three were itemized. Some pieces were just clumped together for value adding to the confusion. This was my first experience and it will be my last with this company. I am very disappointed!!! I am surprised by all the other positive reviews. Mine was an experience I would not wish on another!

Nothing comes close to their offers in a 20km radius. It is worth the travel hassle, trust me.
