      4 out of 5 people i talked with in the street and in the park recommended this salon. They all have beautifully groomed dogs. Everyone rated this salon to be the best and most professional in the city. I tried it and i was so happy with the outcome.Big picture windows allowed me to watch for a period of time watching other dogs being groomed. They were all truly professional and know what they are doing. Friendly reception and my dog came out very happy which he never is whenever he is groomed. My dog requires a lot of brushing which i always fail doing. I was please that they offer free brush outs in between grooming which is rarely offered by other salons.

      A Cut Above Pet Stylists opened its doors in 1991. We strive to give each pet the very best bath and haircut every time at a reasonable price, and we are now grooming third and fourth-generation pets for some clients. We started as a one-person salon in the upper Westside of Manhattan and have grown to two locations here serving clients from the entire upper Westside and from throughout the tri-state area. We’re staffed with fifteen or more pet styling professionals so despite our popularity, our approach is the same as it was in 1991-- give individual attention to each and every pet-- just as we did when we first opened many years ago. Our popularity and longevity attest to the quality and consistency to the care and attention we provide. We’re proud to be busy but each stylist/groomer still focuses on only one pet at a time.
