Was next door shopping and the owner to Sears told me the food was great. The fish sandwich was so big, I had to fold it in half to eat. Very generous portions with a great price.
Love to go to this sports bar to watch all my Detroit Lions games and eat their garlic butter wings.

Everything is so wonderful, oysters in season, french onion soup, BLT,onion rings, wings wings wings! Clam dinner, St Paddy's Day n Green Beer! great service Mike is fantastic Manager/Owner. Best Bloody Mary's in NSB --Johnna n Gina r the best! just all around great place to go alone or with a group $$
What makes McKenna's Place stand out from any other Sports Bar or restaurant?
Wonderful greeting at the door (owner, hostess, servers get to know you by name)
Fast Seating (efficient seating system) (server is immediately notified when you sat at the table)
Atmosphere (neighborhood feeling, watch your favorite game, play trivia and tables provide good privacy)
Friendliness (private mug with your name on it!) (you can tell the employees love working there)
Menu (great selections with abundance of appetizer choices, shell fish raw bar, sandwiches, entrees, outstanding steaks and seafood.
My Favorite: Mild Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - 8oz Large Tasty Chicken Sandwich (ask for the homemade cole slaw!)
Service & Food deserves a 5 star plus rating
Wide selection of items, example seafood Fresh Clams, Oysters, King Crab, Alaskan Crab Legs, Mahi-Mahi, Striped Pangesus, Fish Dip, Shrimp, Clam Strips, Pollock, Tilapia and more (I forgot).
The corned beef and cabbage is wonderful.
The "Place" is always busy - I wonder why (see above reasons).

You can find Mike at the front door, in the dining room floor or inspecting your food when coming out the kitchen.
