worst waste management company I have every had I had to pay a $25.00 reconnection fee? i was out of town for a long time when i get back reconnection fee ok no problem 99.00 dollars later!!! just pick up the trash not 1 not 2 not 3 five times they drove by & did not pick up that's 2 and a half weeks. I canceled with them and am still trying to get a refund This is Just totally unacceptable. I have never been aggravated so much by a company in my entire life
Progressive Waste has always done a good job for me. Most places I lived in the garbage pickup was a "political" company. They only picked up what was in your can, and if there were too many cans they left some. If it was too heavy, they left it.. You had no choice, the company was "approved" by the city/county etc. or it was a government org and you had no choice. AS for recycle days, I called, got the "correct day" and have had no issues since. Good job guys!
This is the worst waste management company I have had in my 59 years. We recycle and they are scheduled to pick up recycle the first and third Wednesday of each month. They have not come for the last five scheduled pickups despite my calls to complain. I am always told we have "their best driver". What BS. I believe this is their way to stop recycling. Just put what amounts to 10 weeks of recycling out to the regular trash. If you have can get another company.

It's been almost 2 weeks since my trash was picked up and no one answers the phone at the given number for Progressive Waste Services. Anyone else having problems?
Had same problems as many here. Garbage not being picked up. promises made that it will be picked up later in the day .. it never is. Just totally unacceptable.
wow again for the third time no garbage pickup and last time I had to pay a $20.00 reconnection fee? I canceled the garbage p/u at rental & sales rep confirmed last week with a $10 credit to me. Are you guys owned by DUKE ENERGY?; They raised their rates 30% you guys charge and don't p/u. By the way who gets a pay raise of 30% and or goes to work does nothing and still gets paid? DUKE ENERGY AND PROGRESSIVE SOLUTIONS!!!!!!!! Were can I apply?
The worst costumer service ever !!!!!!!!!! I been paying my bill on line with bill pay ,they changed my account # without notice ,then stopped picking up my trash ,and when I called them up they said I never paid them and wanted a copy of the check ,I called my bank the bill was payed a representative of my bank called them to confirm payment told them it would take 12 days to get them a copy of the check . they told us that they will continue not to pick up my trash till they get the copy and still sent me a bill with the old and the new charges even though they do not pick up my trash !!!!
They are horrible, constantly do not pick up trash but will pick up everyone else. Don't bother going with them waste of time
very bad service they forget you pick up your garbage, and tell it will be picked up later today,, then they don't show, so I called the next morning , word was we will pick it up today called at 4 pm said it would be picked up before 6 pm, never showed up I live in an HOA, and going to talk to the Board and see if we can change companies, this happened to others in the HOA as well, why pay for something you're not getting.. I would not want to use them again so I am going to make sure at the board meeting that this gets addressed and ask to have another company come in and take over
Absolutely terrible service. Customer service is just awful, reps are rude and insincere. They constantly forget my garbage too, recyclables, I have to call and wait on hold for a very long time (at least 30 plus minutes). Again, lack of sincerity in forgetting to pick up my garbage. They promise to come get it and then don't. I have never been aggravated so much by a company in my entire life. I just switched companies and am happier already. Do yourself a favor, pick another company, anyone but this one. PS--this USED to be a great company have been with them for over 10 years, however, the service has deteriorated in the past few years and just continues to go downhill.
Second time within 2 months that they didn't pick up our garbage. Of course the offices are closed by the time a working person gets home to find that out, so left a message in their "general" mailbox (had to look up phone # as it is not on bill or other correspondence) at 5:04pm where they'll have to return my call sometime tomorrow. Boooo Hissssss.
Talked with 5 different people over the course of 2 days and spent over 2 hours on phone, bank had to fax proof of payment, and our garbage was out front till the next usual pick up day (they kept promising to come pick it up and never showed). Too bad there's not a negative rating scale!

These guys are becoming another Verizon. New owners poor performance.
They lost my check not once but two(2) checks in a row, and then instead of saying something, a call or an email or even a snail mail; nope, nothing just cancel the trash pickup
Turns out they applied my payments to another account.......yikes
Great move guys, really poor customer performance.

as a customer I shouldn't and to continuously call because the trash hasn't been picked up. I have been missed several times this month . Just this week I have been missed on all my pickups . I keep getting reassured that they will be there today to pick it all up. Well the trash is still out there
