With a location in New Port Richey, Fla., The Genesis School was founded in 1977. It is an independent co-educational day school that offers educational instruction in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school conducts classes in academic readiness skills, phonics, art, music, physical education and creative experiences. The Genesis School s curriculum includes math, social studies, science, Spanish, art, physical education, music and computer, as well as supports a language arts program. It also administers various extracurricular activities and events that include art, book fairs, music, chorus, drama and field trips. The school operates a library that offers a collection of books on various topics. The Genesis School is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and Florida Kindergarten Council.
