Personal and Family Counseling Services of Tuscarawas Valley is a private, nonprofit family service agency that assists individual and families. Established in 1970, the agency provides a variety of social services, such as counseling, support, advocacy and education. It offers services that focus on prevention, as well as treatment. Located in New Philadelphia, Ohio, the agency has a workforce of more than 60 full- and part-time employees. It is funded by the United Way, various foundations, donations, grants, insurance, contracts and client fees. Personal and Family Counseling Services of Tuscarawas Valley offers mental health and substance abuse services. The agency is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children and is certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.
