When we asked the locals in New Orleans where THEY go for THEIR Voodoo, we got the same answer again & again...Voodoo Authentica. We asked the musicians, the buggy drivers, shop owners, etc. and we're so glad we did. This place is clean, friendly, warm & inviting. The staff, made up entirely of authentic practitioners by the way, really made us feel at home. We asked a million questions about Voodoo, (so did our 3 kids!), and they answered them with a smile. We also left with an amazing Haitian Flag, a Good Luck potion oil & gris gris bag blended for us right in the shop and some awesome locally made Voodoo Dolls that we grabbed for ourselves & some friends. Fantastic experience all around. Highly recommend this place! Louis & Becky from CA

True authentic Voodoo in the New Orleans French Quarter. These people are the coolest...the real thing!

General Info

Voodoo Authentica of New Orleans Cultural Center and Collections is not only a shop, but also a temple and educational space. Everyone working here is a practitioner of Voodoo, and everything in the shop (save the African and Haitian art pieces) are made by local practitioners, much of it actually being made right in the shop. If you have any questions, or even need a bit of spiritual guidance, any of our practitioners can help you out. If you're looking for a reading, stop on in or call, and one of our Priests will give you a spiritual consultation. If you're just genuinely interested in Voodoo and in need of more information, want to see some traditional dolls and spiritual products, or just need some advice on good places to eat, please stop on in!
