This is ABSOLUTELY the best program in the country for treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). As a Clinician I found this program to be based on cutting edge research for the cause, effect and treatment of symptoms. The NOI addresses the broad spectrum of PTSD and it's easily misdiagnosed symptoms, such as Depression, Dissociation, Compulsions, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Sexual Disorders, Personality Disorders (Borderline, Anti-Social, Narcissistic, Schizoaffective , etc).
As a person diagnosed with PTSD receiving treatment I found this program challenging. It is far more challenging than other programs I have encountered. The payoff is also far greater. Working with a treatment team that has been together for a decade plus, provides continuity of care in a secure environment. I was treated as an individual with individual symptoms vs one treatment for all. I was treated like an adult, given respect and allowed the comforts of home. This is a program for those who take their recovery seriously.
