Cool people, cool store, a little busy but reminds me of sneaker shopping in New York. I was in town for a medical convention. I live out in AZ now, and sneaker hunting is limited to online shopping. No brick and mortar stores to get limited release kicks or at least decent ones. The concierge at the W recommended I stop in. Some stores are big and display the same shoe 10 times to fill up their wall. These guys have a different shoe for each slot in their wall. It's overwhelming, plus a bunch of the Clevland Cavs were in the store when I arrived. The manager Craig was cool and we chatted it up about retros. Definitely a cool spot.

Cool store. Lots of exclusives, my kids enjoyed it alot. Glad I came here instead of the chain store across the street. It was alot cheaper here then across the street.Not sure what the review talking about the security camera was about. I actually install CCTV and access control systems for a living. So I frequently look at other people's work (even on my vacation, bad habit). I noticed the camera in that area, but it's impossible to look in the fitting room from that angle. I should know, I installed 200+ cameras last year which was the same model.

I recently visited Sports Plus and was concerned when I learned that there was a security camera placed above the dressing room. When I approached the manager that spoke limited English, he stated that it was aimed at a wall of shoes. Highly unlikely! He did not offer to let me see for myself. I was disgusted and decided to leave. Be aware that when you, your wife or girlfriend try on clothes at this Sports Plus off Canal Street in New Orleans you may be taped.
