DETAILS
General Info
Fine comfort food, made from scratch. From our kitchen’s scratch cooking to the rustic farmhouse feel of the space, the beauty is in the details at Red Dog Diner. The deeply grained wood, the exposed brick walls, the handcrafted communal tables and benches – we considered every element to create an atmosphere that feels familiar (maybe even a little broken in) from the beginning. You hear a lot about “reclaimed wood” these days, and you’ll see it throughout the restaurant. It’s not an affectation. A member of our team has a thing for “collecting” (some might call it “hoarding”) truckloads of beautiful wooden beams, planks, and bead board, and we’ve put it to good use. Our cozy indoor/outdoor bar is tucked away in back, a haven built for what we do best in New Orleans: recreational lingering and liquid refreshments.Fine comfort food, made from scratch.
