Established in 1976, Pontchartrain Materials Corporation, LLC is a supplier of construction aggregates. Located in New Orleans, La., it produces most of its aggregate in-house by recycling local broken concrete, while it also procures raw materials from outside. Pontchartrain Materials Corporation, LLC manufactures a product line of industrial sands, filter sands, locomotive sands, well pack sands and decorative aggregates, golf course aggregates. The company also has a sand and gravel mine, which supplies construction aggregates to south Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast markets.
