My husband was just transferred from Ochsners baptist hospital to this hospital. Omg we just got here we went from a nice clean private room to a filthy semi room the poor guy here has not stopped talking or Groaning which is not his fault. But the floor is so nasty my shoes are sticking to it, everything I've touched is gross. I will never bring him back here. All the money you spend they should have a clean room, if not they need a new house keeper. We actually came to the emergency room on Monday after waiting over 8 hrs. They still had 3 people ahead of him that is why we left. Wish would have stayed where we was. Only reason we agreed to be transferred is because his dr. Is here. I'm very disgusted & not happy at all with this hospital.

I had an appt with ENT today and they scheduled a CT scan for the next day. I got a confirmation call and 30 minutes later got a call stating my ins takes 72 hours to authorize. I called Ins who stated all they have to do is call and they could get authorization over the phone. Tried calling back but got the run around three times. Finally at 4 I contacted the ENT dept and the nurse promised to call me back after 5 when she was finished with patiens, guess what??? NO CALL BACK and so my 7am appt is now canc because they refuse to communicate with there patients.. THEY NEVER RETURN CALLS AND PUSH YOU OFF ON EVERYONE ELSE...........

Ochsner is the best hospital in the United States of America. The number one best specialty is Neurology. Neurologist's saved my life since I was eight months old, and I am very thankful for the Neurologist's at Ochsner on Jefferson Highway. My Neurologist is the best. He is very rigorous, but he really does care for his patients. My Neurologist also, answers questions and explains the "why" clearly. He will help you out in anyway, and if you have an emergency, he will squeeze you in his schedule within the same day or next. I trust my Neurologist with all of my life. I couldn't ask for a better doctor than him. So, if you need a Neurologist, then get Neurologist Frank Oser. I definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a Neurologist.
