Nice upscale interior. We had advance reservations for a party of 12 and we agreed to 2 tables of 6 athough at 5:15 it was virtually empty. No attempt was made to even seat us close by our friends. We found the waiters very snobbish and unfriendly .. Even had to ask someone else for a refill of iced tea when I couldn't get our waiters attention.
My $14 pasta in the regular pasta section was seriously 6 bites. It was not from the small plates menu.
Both tables asked for separate checks.. One waiter forgot and was very annoyed when asked again.
Of the 6 couples, none would recommend to friends or return.
Its a shame, but none of us felt welcomed.

Chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman steer the ship at Josephine Estelle. Based in Memphis, where they've helmed the restaurants Andrew Michael Italian Kitchen and Hog & Hominy along with neighborhood butcher shop Porcellino's Craft Butcher, this is the first venture to bring their award-winning culinary sensibility southward. Beyond Josephine Estelle, Andy and Michael are also at the head of all culinary programming at Ace. Specializing in the seafood that drew Andy and Michael to New Orleans in the first place, and the pasta whose ins and outs they both learned at the foot of their grandmothers, Josephine Estelle is the product of an ever-evolving dedication and love for food.Chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman steer the ship at Josephine Estelle.
