General Info

Dr. Fernando Sanchez is a graduate of Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud CES Medical School. His internship was at General Hospital of Medellin – Colombia. He completed an internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by his orthopedic residency training, also at UAB. He completed an Adult Reconstruction fellowship at Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute, Alexandria, Virginia. In May of 2018, Dr. Sanchez was awarded the title of the Bette and Jack Kenneth Wickstrom Professor of Orthopaedics.
