It delivers electricity to more than 2.7 million utility customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The company has annual revenues of more than $10 billion and approximately 14,000 employees. Entergy Louisiana has served the area for more than 70 years. It serves approximately 1 million electric customers in nearly 60 parishes. In Baton Rouge, the company also provides natural gas service to approximately 90,000 customers. It serves approximately 618,300 customers. Residential customers account for nearly 540,000 customers served, commercial customers account for more than 66,900, while industrial customers account for nearly 7,000 and governmental customers account for less than 4,500.
