It has been announced today that Mrs. Chase will be awarded the 2016 James Beard Award on May 2, 2016. It couldn't have been awarded to a more deserving chef. Congratulations!

This legendary restaurant has so much history & the moment you step in the doors of Dooky Chase you see amazing ambiance, smell spectacular home cooked scents & immediately feel like family. I wasn't a huge fan of the Mac & Cheese, however the jambalaya, red beans & rice, shrimp, grits & bread pudding more than made up for it. The original owners just had their 60th wedding anniversary & still operate in the kitchen in the restaurant on a daily basis! (Make sure you say Hi!)
