Took a break from the Low Carb diet in Dec. 2007 to enjoy this once favorite place.Lunch still being served at 4:00pm, a plus. The soft shell crab with a artichoke/crawfish sauce did not fit the bill. The crab tasted old and fishy (I've eaten crab in many ways from raw on up), the crawfish texture tasted to have been frozen, not fresh. The red sauce and artichokes were enjoyable. The Red Stallion beer was tasty, but was not asked by the staff what size I desired. At about 100 pounds, I don't think I needed a full pint! Good thing I was walking because I wouldn't have been able to drive. The french baguette was warm, crispy on the outside, soft & heavenly on the inside. I've dined here during vacations since the early 1990s and this was my first disappointing meal here. The servers were friendly.Because I enjoy microbrew beer, I will still visit this place, but will likely stick with menu basics/standards (pasta/salads/sandwiches) during future visits.Nice atmosphere.
