My husband and I were in New Orleans for Mardi Gras last week and met another couple in our hotel who had nothing but good things to say about Bloody Mary's Tours. I called her the day before we left and she was able to fit us into a cememery tour later that day. Her tour was spectacular! My husband was not as interested in the story of New Orlean's dead as I was, but once the two hour tour was over he was a convert! Mary took us to several cemetarys and at one point I was overcome with the power of where we were. She was everything and more than what we were both expecting.

Haunted Pub Crawl Tour ($25 per person): Matt was a GREAT tour guide!! Very knowledgeable, well-spoken and interesting. I really liked that he didn't push his beliefs in voodoo or ghosts onto us. He just talked to us about his beliefs. Despite Tropical Storm Lee, he made it all the way out to our tour even though our group was the only one that had not canceled. The tour lasted for three hours and we heard so many interesting stories!! What a great way to start off our trip in New Orleans. I highly recommend it especially at the beginning of your trip!

A few years ago I was bringing a gaggle of girls down to New Orleans for a bachelorette party (my own! I know...I'm controlling) and needed an activity for us to do (besides drinking, dancing, eating and shopping). I contacted Mary directly and she suggested a private tour, which was reasonably priced and just what we were looking for. We met at her home, where we sat in her altar room learning about VooDoo and it's history all while making dolls of our own. After we were through, Mary did a love blessing on me to keep my marriage strong (so far, so good!) and we hopped into her car. She brought us out to the cemeteries (at night) which was really awesome. In the five hours we spent with her, we never experienced an iota of boredom-she's such a gifted storyteller! After that experience I was so impressed, and kept referring clients to her (I work in travel) who all came back echoing the same

After doing some research on ghost tours, we came across Bloody Mary's and were pleased with our choice! Mary is generous with her time, extremely knowledgeable and funny. Unlike most tours which seem to charge $20 for a half hour or hour tour, Mary takes you on a two hour tour! She does her due diligence in "opening the door" to the spirits and welcomes them with liquor, candy, and cash. I guess ghosts need incentive to visit and tag along on the tour. She meets you at Lafittes (oldest running bar in the country) and then leads you to the voodoo museum, Madame LaLaure's haunted mansion, and in and around the French Quarter, remembering to point out fun facts such as where Brangelina's local house is. She tells tales of murders, vampires, and sad love stories. At the end of the tour, she remembers to "close the door" so we aren't followed by hitchhiker spirits. If you're ever in NOLA, don't go elsewhere. Join Mary on her tour!

She was probably one of the best experiences we had in New Orleans, so informative about the culture, so passionate about the history and knows how to wow a crowd. We liked her so much we took about 3 of her tours. Looking forward to each and every one as we went. The night time tour of the undead is by far the best.

Every time I come to New Orleans, I take one of Mary's amazing tours. She has such a unique and unassuming way about what she does that makes the experience that much better. She doesn't need pirate or vampire garb to make her point, she just knows her stuff and is absolutely generous with that information and her time. This time around I took 2 of her tours (1 of which i took before). I was visiting with a friend and wanted him to experience it too. Not only do we get to walk through 2 cemeteries at night, but we got to experience a voodoo ritual an photograph plenty of orbs. if you want the real deal and to not have the feeling of being on a "tour", Bloody Mary is where you need to go. She is a lovely woman and has such a wealth of knowledge. Mi that with the utmost respect for the deceased and you will be left with wanting more. Her tours are NOT to be missed. And hey, If you want to get married, she can do that too!!
