This school you seem to have no hope in is also underfunded, attempting to make a space for those many Broadmoor students and others who have been displaced by the misfortune Katrina brought them, trying to get off the ground as a new school that needs more staffing and positive support from the community. I've seen a staff here full of people who truly care about our kids and, as they continue to organize, are doing the best they can with the numbers and resources they have. Management also does care, but the fact of the matter is, management is also trying to set up a better site that is more accommodating. Instead of being disgusted, volunteer. Be a positive influence for the many kids who often have little other models than disappointment and resentment. If the kids see you doing it, they will do the same, no matter how doubtful it may look in the beginning.

I live in the neighborhood where this school resides. Every neighbor around this school is frustrated and disgusted with the management of this school. There is garbage everywhere on the school grounds and children are left unattended. There has been an ongoing process by the neighbors and some of the schools to improve conditions on the grounds, but management does not seem to care. This is and edison charter school that is just not working.
