Specializing in Anxiety, PTSD, Panic Disorder, Depression, Grief, Self-Esteem Issues, Women's Issues and School Age Children. While many therapists focus on past issues and traumas, my focus is on helping clients resolve current problems in a timely manner. My therapy style is proactive and solution focused, straightforward and encouraging. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combined with other eclectic techniques are utilized in my practice. I have over 10 years' experience working with a variety of clients in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. I have worked extensively with female clients over the years, including many college age women and those with relationship, career, family, or fertility problems. I am trained in crisis counseling and have worked with clients from many different cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. While living in New York City, I furthered my expertise in counseling clients with Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder by counseling witnesses and survivors of the attack on the World Trade Center. I am also a former school counselor and can help children cope with anxiety, bullying, peer issues, depression, low self-esteem, and organizational issues.
