Nelson Ridge Elementary School, located in New Lenox, Ill., is a public school that is part of New Lenox School District. It enrolls more than 700 students and offers classes in grades four through six. It is committed to developing the character and full learning potential of all students, and has a tradition of active parent and community involvement. Its curriculum covers subjects, such as English, mathematics, social science, science, health and physical education, music and art. Its after-school enrichment program offers summer and winter camps, as well as daily after-school activities, including classes, such as drama, homework club, piano, gymnastics and dance.
