Clinical and Research InterestsDr. Solanto's clinical and research interests are centered on the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD across the lifespan, including: Cognitive and behavioral functioning of children with ADHD Clinical effects and mechanisms of action of stimulant medications Characteristics of the subtypes of ADHD in children and adults Cognitive-Behavioral treatment of ADHD in Adults Cognitive-Behavioral treatment of ADHD in College StudentsAwards Dr. Solanto has been the recipient of multiple NIH grants including a grant from NIMH to support development of a cognitive-behavioral intervention to treat adult ADHD American Journal of Psychiatry (2010). This CBT intervention was recognized as Innovative Program of the Year by CHADD (2011).
