      Herricks High School focuses on students academic achievement through a variety of education programs and extracurricular activities. It is providing education to more than 1,400 students. It offers variety of advanced placement courses, such as European history, English literature, studio art and microeconomics. The school is approved by the New York State Board of Regents and the Middle States Association. It motivates students to participate in various group activities and competitions. The school also offers variety of honors program in English, precalculus, math, living environment and chemistry. It additionally offers scholarship and research programs. The school celebrates National History day that engages students in the process of discovery and interpretation of historical topics. The school is located in New Hyde Park, N.Y.
