General Info
Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve increases the knowledge and use of native plants by serving as an educational resource and destination that inspires conservation action. The 134-acre Preserve—the only accredited botanical museum in the country dedicated to native plants—hosts a documented living native plant collection that features over 700 of Pennsylvania’s 2,000 native plant species growing in situ (“in place”) within a matrix of sustainable, recognized plant communities. We offer educational programs for all ages, rental areas for events and both volunteer and membership opportunities. Visit BHWP.org for more information. Our operation hours are 9 am - 5 pm, but last gate admission is at 4 pm so everyone has at least an hour to enjoy the Preserve.Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve increases the knowledge and use of native plants by serving as an educational resource and destination that inspires conservation action.
