- Primary CareDr. Umarvadia was born in Dr. Umarvadia was born in Chattanooga, TN. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry. After practicing in Virginia for five years, she and her husband decided to move to Pennsylvania to be closer to family and she joined Eye Associates in 2017. Along with primary care optometry, Dr. Umarvadia has a special interest in fitting contact lenses and ocular surface disease.
- Emergency CareIn the event of an emergency that occurs outside of regular office hours, call the office and our medical answering service will contact the doctor on call. If you cannot reach the physician and it is an extreme emergency, such as trauma, bleeding, infection, or severe pain, report to the Emergency Room at Lancaster General Hospital, and a covering doctor will be contacted by the Emergency Room physician.
- GlaucomaDr. Palandjian’s physician training began with earning his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). His extensive medical education included completing a year of medical internship thru Crozer Health System, followed by a three-year Ophthalmology residency at PCOM where he served as Chief resident. He then completed a glaucoma fellowship at University Eye Associates in Chicago, IL.
- OphthalmologyDr. Wei grew up in Broomall, a suburb of Philadelphia, and graduated Cum Laude from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster. He received his M.D. from the Penn State College of Medicine and completed a medical internship at the Albert Einstein Medical Center. He received his Ophthalmology training at the Penn State Hershey Eye Center and served as chief resident his final year.

- Laser Eye SurgeryDr. Wei most recently completed a Cornea and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at the University of California at Irvine. During Fellowship, Dr. Wei was very active in research relating to femtosecond laser assisted corneal transplants and using LASIK to improve vision in cornea transplant patients.
- CataractsDiabetes can cause serious changes in the eyes including bleeding, swelling, and cataracts. You should at the minimum have your eyes examined yearly after being diagnosed with Diabetes.
