- Eye ExamIf you are coming in for a first visit or for an eye examination with dilation, please allow extra time. Normally, we use drops to dilate the eyes, which allows for a complete and thorough examination. These drops may temporarily blur your vision and make your eyes sensitive to light. You may want to bring sunglasses with you and make arrangements for someone to drive you home. Be sure to bring your most recent pair of glasses with you.
