I have been a happy, satisfied dental patient at Aesthetic Oral Arts (formerly South Utica Dental) since 2001, so twenty years as of now. The dental professionals here have all of the latest training and skills (many diplomas and certificates on the walls) and use the latest techniques and equipment. Because of this, procedures that in the past took a long time are typically done in half that time but with better, modern results.

I have had regular cleanings, minor tooth fillings, root canals and crown placement, and local anesthetic-only wisdom tooth extractions. In the near future when I have enough money to afford it, I plan to get some tooth implants to replace teeth I had extracted many years ago by a lesser qualified dentist. Even a few dental emergencies were handled very well.

I have never had dental insurance and have always paid cash for all of my treatments. Dental work is definitely expensive. But, before work is done, I have always been able to discuss the financial costs and have been granted reasonable discounts for paying cash.

I started going here because my previous dentist was too busy to give me timely appointments, but I have never had that problem here. Because of my satisfaction, my parents became patients here, too, and now it's like going to see old friends instead of just going to the dentist.
