ASHLEY'S ON MAIN ( formerly Ashley Furniture Co. ) is an Aiken County tradition, operated since 1958 Economy Supply Co by Fielding Foreman and family -- and as Ashley Furniture since 1981 by Ashley Foreman.Big Ash was born and raised in Aiken and New Ellenton. He and his wife attended Aiken High and USC Aiken. They are members of First Baptist in Aiken. They are also members of Aiken's premier party band, The Palmetto Groove Party Band.What aspects set ASHLEY'S ON MAIN apart from other furniture stores? The nature of the business has changed drastically over the past 25 years but we are proud to say that we continue to carry product lines from several domestic manufacturers.We continue to remodel, but do currently occupy three galleries and a warehouse totalling 35, 000 square feet. On Highway 19 ( Whiskey Road ) we're 6.2 miles south of the Aiken Mall on the left. You will find the short ride worthwhile.If you are trying to match furniture, bring in a drawer. Ashley is knowledgeable about wood, furniture repair, finishes, durability, industry standards and specifications. Bring your cushions, pillows, drapery fabrics, and your carpet samples to help you select the right combinations.We're open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10am to 7pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm. CLOSED WEDNESDAY and SUNDAY.
