Pizza is not Villanova's. Crust is greasy and chewy. Sauce not the same either.

I went to Prost Tavern wanting to try something new. I ordered the spinach artichoke pizza as an appetizer and the philly steak sandwich for my dinner. Both the flatbread pizza and my sandwich were great. The fries that came with the sandwich were like the ones you can find at a fair. The service was excellent. I couldn't have asked for better service. I plan to make the Prost Tavern a regular place I stop for dinner.

Great new place for New Castle to enjoy a great meal and drink. The food is great and the service is outstanding. Try it you will not go wrong.

i went to eat there for dinner i had the crab cakes which were outstanding, they came with fresh cut fries which were very good.For a appetizer i had the broccoli cheese puffs. They were cooked just right and i was able to eat them right away. I hate when food is so scorching hot you cant eat it. It was one of the best dinners i've ever had. I will be going back soon.

Unreal...Having a group of over twelve all raved as to the cleanliness and the quality of the appetizers, soups, smelts (almost duplicative of Jimmy Medures) and the fine German dishes. We in Lawrence County should be thank you for such a fine addition to our restaurant choices and that the new owners chose to retain the famous Villanova Pizza with its original 1947 recipe.....WELL DONE! The service was excellent, personal, and attentive...The menu selection is a worthwhile read with so many dishes to choose from...and I always savor fresh cut fries...you will not be disappointed and the pricing is more than right on...down right reasonable. I can not say enough...but our group will be regulars....
