Harry W. Lockley Kindergarten offers educational programs to more than 300 children up to the age of six. It organizes Halloween parties and Thanksgiving Day events. The school conducts food drive functions that provide donations, such as clothes, toys, toothbrushes, towels, slippers, bottles, blankets and lotions for children, men and women. Harry W. Lockley Kindergarten also organizes art competitions and canoeing events. It is a part of the New Castle Area School District, which operates primary, intermediate and high schools. The district administers special education and gifted and talented programs. New Castle Area School District features business, payroll and special service departments. Harry W.
