The company provides a full range of solutions to meet a variety of power transmission needs, from installation of new units to inspection and repair of old equipment. The company provides several manufacturing services, including process and equipment upgrades, reverse engineering, equipment condition monitoring and field-service support. It also provides on-site rebuilds, equipment predictive maintenance, equipment and inventory auditing, and repair and overhaul response services. Philadelphia Gear, located in New Castle, Del., has a more than 40,000-square-foot facility, which features nearly 1500 horsepower test stand, gear inspection and gear grinding systems and over 20-ton crane capacity.
