Through its civil process section, Middlesex County Sheriff s Department offers security, drug interdiction, and criminal identification and investigations, as well as administers summons, attachments and foreclosures execution services under the direction of civil courts. The department maintains investigation and response teams and an identification bureau that has various trained and specialized professionals and detectives. Its community awareness bureau offers information, education and specialized programs on matters related to drug awareness, crime prevention, personal safety and consumer fraud.
