My brand new car was hit,needed a brand new bumper.Paul personally took care of my vehicle,always kept me in the loop with what needed to be done.He took care of EVERYTHING.....the insurance company,the rental car company and ALL my questions! Yes I would highly recommend him to fix my car if need be and I would recommend him to anybody.Paul is kind,honest and hardworking. I am from Bristol and was referred to him because I heard he was the best so I called him and he came to me! If you want good work done on your car,go somewhere else......if you want the BEST work done on your car go see Paul!!!

I can't understand anyone who writes a negative review for this business, I was in an accident and they had a rental car ready for me as soon as I brought in my car. There were a couple of times when the rental was not available, so one of the body guys drove me wherever I needed to be. I'd set up a time and within a half an hour a black Mercedes would arrive. It was like having a personal driver. A real nice touch.

Please never ever go to this person !! HE IS SO BOGUS ! I am writing review just so that you do not go through the same Torture.



I had an incident with my car & I went to this person thinking he will be good. This guy did only 40% work and returned my car saying work is done ! I had made the mistake of allowing my insurance carrier to pay him directly so he had gotten all the payment by this time. After this, I followed up for 4 months for asking to complete the pending work and this scammer guy kept postponing giving all kinds of bogus reasons. He never picks up phone & forget about getting any call from him. I had to call from different numbers to get him on phone to answer me. Ultimately I went to this guy & told him I am not going to move out from his garage unless all work is completed and then only he did pending work that day. I request you not to go to this guy ever otherwise this guy will make you mad !



DO NOT GO BY THE WAY HE TALKS !! He is completely bogus.

What a scammer!!

Don't bring your vehicle here unless you want to deal with horrible customer service and a big headache. My truck was there for 4 months originally quoted to have it 2 weeks tops. Paul never answers his phone and when you go down their he says the same thing "it will be done next week we are almost finished." When I finally got my truck back 4 months later it wasn't complete. The bed was missing bolts, the bad symbols on the truck where not on, the spare tired was slashed and the rim was bent. 6 months later the truck is chipping after his paint job and the other issues are not resolved. He refuses to finish the job. If you ignore all these warnings and go their make sure the insurance company does not send him the check first. Make the jobs complete before you pay him. Which my insurance company paid him first and his excuse for having so long every time I went their was he didn't have the money to buy the parts? The paint is peeling because he doesn't even have a spray booth in his garage like the professionals do. The works that work their drink on the job and look like crack heads. Like he found them on the street. He changed the name to Expo Auto now still being ran by Paul. The man has many complaints against him. Wonder how's he is stilln business. IF you ask anyone in New Britain about Paul and his shop they all say he's a rip off and shady person and would never go their.

Right after my accident, I didn't call the insurance company, I called Paul's Automotive. This was done on the advice of my boyfriend who has used Paul's in the past. Not only did I get my car back in beautiful shape, but I had the color changed from blue to black and added a racing stripe. This was done at no additional charge from Paul's Automotive! The car (Honda) finally looked how I always wanted it to. I can't say enough about this business. I cannot understand any negative review of this business. Paul's went above and beyond what they were supposed to do.

This place rebuilt my car which the insurance company wanted to total. I didn't want it "totaled" and Paul's worked with the insurance comapny to resolve this. I kicked back and let these guys handle everything. They dropped in a new motor, straightened the frame and much more. The car was better than it was prior to the accident. I couldn't believe it! This place took their time, but they did it right and I had zero problems with the car after they fixed it.

GO THERE!! For the life of me--I don't get the negative reviews.Someone with a chip on their shoulder is campaigning to have Pauls Automotive smeared. Why? (I'm guessing here,) because the place is always busy and has a great crew.



I am a female that has always loved Italian sports cars. I once saw a Ferrari (308?) at Pauls and knew right away that Pauls Auto had to be good enough for a Ferrari owner to bring such a car there.



When I saw my first Pantera I was around 8 years old and thought it was the coolest car I had ever seen. I knew that one day I would have one. Back in the 70's you could buy a brand new Pantera from your local car dealer for 10-11 grand. That changed as soon as the car was no longer brought into the USA



So, in 2000, my husband and I bought a very used basket case '72 Pantera and took it (towed it) to Pauls. This was going to be MY car so I had to bethe project manager (ha!) I had discussed everything with Paul himself before bringing the car to him. He was courteous as all get out and knew a lot about the year make and model. He even kept my 8 year old daughter entertained blowing bubbles for her while I was in the bathroom.



To put this car back together was a major undertaking--including rebuilding the orighinal motor (351)which we had slightly modified. We had also addressed some of the original flaws that the car originally came with such as overheating, braking and more. I wanted the outside of the car looking 100% stock, but I wanted the interior to have additional stiching done to match the exterior paint.



Finally the wait was over and the car was finished. I felt like a kid in the Wonka factory when I drove it down the street. Within 5 minutes I had people honking with thumbs up, questions at the gas station, notes left on the car window. I have never gotten this much attention in my life!! The car was fast and furious. Stepping on the gas pedal was like pulling a trigger on a shot gun and yes, I have a shot gun.



Let me say that Paul's automotive from the outside looks like a dump, but don't let that fool you. It's what they produce that counts. From dings to total rebuilds, this is the place.
