Chicken fried chicken is fabulous. My favorite place to eat.

Great place to eat. Atmosphere is wonderful. You have to order onion rings as your appetizer. A cold beer makes them better. It's a classic place. Come dressed as you are!!

I tired Clear Springs the other day cause I have read all the great reviews and it was always packed when I drove by so finally got the time to stop and enjoy some good food...well the food was just okay but the thing that really got me was the plastic forks, knives, spoons...really you expect me to eat a salad for $12 with a plastic fork?? Do you know how hard it to stab lettuce with that?!! I've been to dives that have real forks...plus I want to know do they spend all this money to use plastic do they wash it and reuse it or just throw it away? That's not very green is it now! I was not impressed with Clear Springs...get better food down the street at Dixie Grill, it's cheaper and guess what? They give you a metal fork!

Best onion rings in the world. If there are any left over, we bring them home and heat them under the broiler.

For years I never looked at the menu, just ordered the signature catfish & O rings. Pleasantly surprised when forced to eat something not fried. Grilled shrimp on a stick a real treat.

Clear Springs mainly has fried food but I'm trying to watch what I eat so I got a salad instead. It was really good. It was a "Big Salad" and had fried chicken on it but I feel that's better than eating the fries. It has crispy onions, tomatoes, avocado, bacon, and cheese on it as well. The waitress was very friendly and seemed to be really enjoying her job! The only thing was that it was really busy bt our wait wasn't too bad. I definitely reccomend this place to others!

I practically grew up in this old building. Once ran by a man we called Pop; it's has always been called Clear Springs. And that was 35 years ago. Although renovated from it's older beer joint appeal, I like the food and the cold beer.

Everything fried! Shrimp, catfish, fries, hushpuppies, and pretty much everything else. Good with a cold beer. This place gets big time busy so be prepared to wait.

I always enjoy going to Clear Springs. The catfish is great, as well as the onion rings. Service is alway good, with good humored wait staff. Shrimp, oysters and ribs are good too.
