      "Mom and Pop" shop with an open grill and homemade chicken salad, tuna salad, pasta salad (in season) and egg salad (in season). All food is cooked to order. We are the oldest, consistently open restaurant in New Bern, North Carolina, started in 1947. We boast the best hot hamburger plate and largest pancake in town.
